GOD GOES BEFORE HER. 10 YEARS LATER.
Pastor For The Culture (Kingdom Culture)
Tasha M.Treviño, M.Div
When I picked up my cross to follow Jesus, the storms raged, the trials came, and the fiery darts were assigned! It was clear to me then (10 years ago), as I broke free from the bondage that would keep me from purpose, that I was armoring up for much more than my own personal triumph. Having the Victory in Christ, affords us refinement in ways that pulls us out of comfort and propels us always forward into promise and through battle, not for ourselves but for others as we are called to The Great Commission. As a Millennial leader and Pastor I often receive feedback that is not so favorable regarding our generation, however we are a generation rising up & preparing to lead standing firmly on the truth! We are zealous, and on fire for Jesus.

Attaining a Master of Divinity: Theological Studies at Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary, God revealed not only women, but specifically women of color were less than 3% of my program of a 50% graduating projection rate overall. At one of the world's largest Christian Universities, I found there was already a path aligned strategically by God, He goes before us. In our culture representation matters. In God's Kingdom, representation brings heaven down to earth. Pushing through adversity and finishing was not about my personal accomplishment, rather pioneering a territory for other women of faith to be empowered through Christ- to lead and realize the possibility of their own great purpose and achievement in God's Kingdom. God leads and we follow. I look forward to sharing in this new decade all that the Lord has done to equip and prepare me as a leader over the past 10 years, to encourage anyone who is preparing to make their next decade-their best decade!
